Organized by the Galien Africa Association, this meeting serves as a crucial platform for fostering youth innovation in the healthcare sector across Africa. The event brings together young African talents who are developing innovative solutions to address health, climate, and environmental challenges. The primary goal of this session is to showcase these young innovators, who often face social, economic, legal, technological, and financial hurdles, by connecting them with investors and experts. This meeting also aims to support these talents, enabling them to play a key role in tackling current crises.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their innovations, receive expert advice, and explore funding opportunities. The three most promising startups will be awarded the Galien Africa Young Innovator Support (GAYIS), providing them with crucial financial support, mentorship, and networking opportunities to maximize the impact of their projects.
Preceding this meeting, a session titled “Where Are They Now?” will review the progress of innovations presented in previous editions.
