Ndeye Absa is in charge of the Digital Innovation Platform in the Jobs for Youth in Africa department at the African Development Bank. Better known as “Jobs for Youth in Africa”, the strategy was launched in 2016, with the aim of creating employment opportunities, building human capital and establishing sustainable linkages to the labour market in order to create 25 million jobs for youth in Africa by 2025.

Since August 2022, Ndeye Absa has been seconded to the Southern Africa region, in the Public Health, Nutrition and Social Protection Division of the Human Capital, Youth and Skills Development Department of the African Development Bank.

In charge of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Lab initiative, Ndeye Absa manages a fund of nearly 10 million dollars to support incubators, accelerators and investment funds across the continent and a team of nearly ten consultants.
