Harouna Drabo is a fact checker-journalist at Fasocheck, the Burkinabe fact checking and media development organization. He is also an analyst of governance in the Sahel countries.

With a focus on public policy development and the fight against misinformation, Harouna Drabo is resolutely committed to the production of information and communication for the construction of an informed African public opinion on the major issues of the continent, including public health.

He is the first Burkinabe citizen and African journalist to receive the prestigious “Speak Up Africa Leadership Award” in 2021. A continental distinction awarded to personalities and institutions that have exemplary leadership in favor of sustainable development in Africa.
