Angella Kyomugisha
Brendah Nantongo has over 10 years of combined experience in engineering, technology, project management and volunteering. As a social entrepreneur, wanting a better world for all drives her to develop impact-focused initiatives that solve our day to day challenges. She has been part of teams building business-oriented solutions to support vulnerable communities for last 10 years.
Such solutions involve improving primary food production varieties & access to highly scalable agricultural processing capacity, ground water engineering and recently primary health care. Through her carrier path as an engineer, she has worked with Uganda’s electricity utility where she worked on pioneering prepaid billing and expanding the national grid to rural areas.
Brendah currently serves as Co-CEO at Kaaro Health Uganda Limited, a company that builds container clinics to provide access to primary healthcare in areas where there are no health care infrastructure and uses digital technology to bring remote access to doctors to these clinics.
