In our nations, it is essential to promote initiatives that contribute to the fight against non-communicable diseases, including research and innovation. Countless innovations driven by African youth, particularly those developing technological solutions through digital platforms, artificial intelligence, or IoT, have emerged to aid in prevention, patient treatment, and the enhancement of information and patient monitoring systems within healthcare services.
These young innovators face multiple challenges in the implementation of their projects, spanning social, economic, legal, technological, scientific, and often financial domains.
Hence, the Galien Africa Forum has chosen to make the meeting between young innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors a central feature of its agenda.
Over 200 young individuals, selected from among the best medical and pharmacy students from across Africa, will participate in this session, along with around a hundred young community leaders and entrepreneurs.
In anticipation of the meeting of innovation stakeholders, a session titled “What Have They Become?” will be held. Its objective will be to review the progress of innovations presented in previous year
