The rapid development of vaccines, diagnostic and therapeutic tools, and telecommuting are all examples that have improved the response, prevention, and especially the continuity of essential health care services in the face of this pandemic.

The high costs of Research and Development (R&D), the ethical component inherent in medical research, the need for a rigorous regulatory framework are all issues on which the various speakers of this panel will focus in order to identify the challenges and prospects of the technological innovation sector and accelerate Africa’s march towards health coverage.
