The Galien Africa Youth Leadership Academy is dedicated to preparing young health science students and emerging health leaders to tackle the major challenges of the century. This year’s theme, “Leadership and Artificial Intelligence: Catalysts for Effective Health Actions in Response to Climate Crises in Africa”, focuses on integrating leadership and advanced technologies to address climate-related health crises in Africa.
Through comprehensive training on the complexities of the modern world, the academy equips participants with the understanding of how new technologies and artificial intelligence can impact health crisis management. The academy features online sessions followed by a final in-person meeting in Dakar, providing a rigorous framework to develop leadership skills and innovative solutions tailored to Africa’s health challenges.
The goal is to empower future leaders with the tools needed to navigate an ever-evolving environment and to promote effective health actions in response to contemporary climate issues
